Il 23 novembre i British Fashion Awards hanno sancito il doppio successo di J.W. Anderson, premiato come migliore stilista femminile e maschile. Il giovane direttore creativo di Loewe ha sbaragliato gli altri nominati: Victoria Beckhame Christopher Kane per il womenswear, E. Tautz e Tom Ford per il menswear. Quest’ultimo si è aggiudicato il red carpet award. Sul podio, fra gli altri, Alessandro Michele, best international designer, e Karl Lagerfeld per l’outstanding achievement. Lo stilista di Gucci ha indossato Tuxedo in faille di seta avorio jacquard con ricami floreali, per ritirare ieri sera il premio come stilista dell’anno, ha scelto infatti di indossare in anteprima assoluta i capi della pre-fall 2016 di Gucci.
Nel settore degli accessori il gradino più alto del podio è stato assegnato a Charlotte Olympia. Altri premi a Burberry per la campagha creativa, alla new establishment designer Mary Katrantzoue all’establishment designer Erdem.
Oltre duemila ospiti sono intervenuti alla cerimonia al London Coliseum tra loro Salma Hayek Pinault, Kate Bosworth,Lady Gaga, Georgia May Jagger e Sir Philip Green.
On November 23 J.W.Anderson was twice awarded as best female and male stylist in occasion of the British Fashion Awards. The young Loewe creative director has outperformed his nominee-competitors: Vicoria Beckham and Christopher Kane for womenswear, E.Tautz and Tom Ford for menswear. Gucci’s stylist has worn ivory jacquard silk faille with floral embroidery Tuxedo to withdraw yesterday night the prize as stylist of the year, he chose actually to wear as world premiere the new Gucci’s pre-fall 2016 collection.
In the accessories field the highest step of the podium was assigned to Charlotte Olympia. Other prizes to Burberry for the creative advertising, to the new establishment designer Mary Katrantzoue and to the establishment designer Erdem.
